Willowfork Fire Department

The Willowfork Fire Department has a full-time staff of paid professional firefighters. As the population of the district grows so does the demands of the fire service.  As volunteers we are here to help, assist and supplement the full-time firefighters.

The commitment required to becoming a firefighter is considerable and never ending.  We meet the first four Tuesdays every month from 7PM – 10PM.   In addition the actual calls will take you away from your families and other activities at unpredictable times. At times, you may be put at considerable self risk due to the nature of our duties.

If this all sounds like something you'd be interested in, we have a few basic requirements:

• You must be 21 years of age or older.
• You must have a valid driver’s license, and be a U.S. Citizen.
• No previous felony convictions.
• Must complete the Willowfork Fire Department cadet school.
• Reside in our service area or within 1 mile of its border.
• Membership approved by existing members.
