Groundbreaking Ceremony
Work has begun on two projects to improve our existing facilities and provide additional space for our operations and admin staff. On Friday, March 10, 2023, we had the honor to welcome Fort Bend Precinct 1 County Commissioner Vincent Morales, Jr., Jennifer Knesek, District Assistant for Texas Senator Joan Huffman, and Wendi Lojo, Senior Advisor for Texas District 26 Representative Jacey Jetton as we kicked off Station #1 renovations and the construction of our new District Administrative building. Pictured below at Station #1 from left to right is Willowfork Fire Chief Billy Wilson, ESD #2 Board of Commissioners Wes Noonan, Steven Fein, and Daryl Brister with Fort Bend Precinct 1 Commissioner Vincent Morales Jr. in the center and ESD # 2 Board of Commissioners Robert Miller and Corey Zollinger with Texas Senator Joan Huffman’s District Assistant, Jennifer Knesek and Texas District 26 Representative, Jacey Jetton’s Senior Advisor, Wendi Lojo to the right. Everyone had the opportunity to swing a sledgehammer before moving on to the building site of our new Admin building adjacent to Station #3. We hope you will be as excited as we are to watch these projects progress!
